Families who lose a loved one abroad often face a complex, unfamiliar, and emotionally overwhelming process to bring them home. In moments of grief, these fragmented workflows create confusion, delays, unexpected costs, and additional emotional distress. Families need a reliable, clear, and supportive way to understand the steps involved, manage required tasks, and connect with trusted service providers—without having to piece everything together on their own.
To address this challenge, the proposed solution is a professional, guided repatriation app that simplifies the end-to-end process and provides families with clarity and support during a difficult time; a step-by-step process that translates complex repatriation procedures into clear, manageable tasks, tailored by country of death, destination country, and family needs; a secure space where families can upload, store, and track essential documents (death certificates, permits, embassy forms). The system highlights missing items and provides instructions for each requirement.
